MY FAVORITE SPORT

Hi guys!, today I want to talk about my favorite sport, I really love the basketball, I think I started to play basketball when I was seventeen years old, it so older, because a lot people start like twelve or thirteen years old, but anyway I play basketball since 12 year ago, I think is very exciting, if you can watch a basketball game and you enjoy it, you can not imagine what you can feel if you are inside the court, you really feel the adrenaline in your body and feel the spectators to shout your name or the name of your team is really fantastic! I played basketball in my country with three teams Tibas, UCR and now with SANATURA-BASKET, the league is similar to play in USA (NCAA league), but I think NCAA is little bit more competitive than Costa Rica, but it does not matter I really enjoy it.

You can guess!, when I arrive to CR in march I will be training Monday and Wednesday, because I believe that the basketball help me in a lot of part of my life it give concentration, motivation, health and the principal a lot of friend than yet I have and I share with them. This are some word that you have to know if you want to play basketball: assist, backboard, basket, block, bounce, bounce pass, chest pass, double, draft (only in NBA), dribble, drive the ball, foul, free throw, game clock, guarding (is a man on man defensive tactic used to counter dangerous players), exceed, slam dunk, jump shot, overtime, time out!

I think a love the sport, all my live I have practice different kind of sport, but I really want to know how to swimming, I think it so funny and easy, but in the last year I did not have time to take a course…maybe in this year I will try to learn swimming it so important.

Finally if you do not like some sport, try to practice someone! Do not leave time goes, you can try this opportunity in your life that enjoy with other people, I think you really enjoy it, when you start it is difficult, because all in the life when you start is difficult, but after if you have perseverance you really feel better with yourself.

WEEKEND IN CHICAGO

The last weenkend I was in Chicago city with several friends, and we enjoyed a lot of things like: The Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum, a delicious dinner at John Hancock Center with very special people and also I went shopping by all The Magnificent Avenue. I really enjoyed this trip because the Chicago City is really wonderful its building, museum, places to visit, shop, and obviously go to the home of Michael Jordan (The Chicago Center).

At the night after dinner we went to Jazz bar it reality was very interesting because the music it so romantic sometimes, funny in some cases and similar a pop music also, I think is a nice music... For me I really like Michigan but the Chicago City is very different is very clean, quiet and have a lot places for every age people.

Other important place that I saw and visit was the Sears Tower, really was spectacular 103 floor! Since Sears Tower you can saw all city of Chicago and the lake, the view is so beautiful and to share with friend and others people make the trip very funny and interesting because you speaks, give joke and pass a good time!

Heyyy you friend! you have to go to visit Chicago is a trip that you do not forget!

SMALL TALK in My Country, What don´t you talk about it?

I believe you can´t talk about in my country about religion, in Costa Rica the people is very respectfully about own religion, there are catholic, protestant and other kind the religion in my country, but if you start talking about this all the people like, they you was the same religion that them.

Also some people are very jealous about their religion don´t like to talk about because they assume that you are catholic, the majority of population in Costa Rica are catholic religion. In addition is not appropriate talk about religion in small talk.

Also you can´t say bad thing about the food, for example the last week in a meeting some guys said “When I was in Costa Rica I ate Gallo Pinto (typical plate, are rices and beans, some people eat with bread, cheese and eggs, for drink coffee or tea), but is very boring ate every day he said, I don´t like it, I don´t know how the people can eat it every morning”… it sound very hard!…then why do you eat? I was very angry…!

SOME SPORTS CARS

I visited the Car AutoShow in Detroit it´s was very exiciting and beatiful...If you love the car you have to go to some Car Auto Show. You need about five hours to watch all cars and brands, you can find sport cars, trucks, sedan, hybrid cars and economic cars.

Also you find diferent brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Pontiac, Hyundai and others.

I think car industry es very complicated because there are a lot brand, that are similar in theirs prototype for example you have MASARETI but also you have AUDI FULL sport convertible..they have similar characteristic, the same speed, hp, full extras and others.

The experiences was so funny, because I saw a lot of car, that you can´t see in Costa Rica specially sport cars. About the trip you spend 2 or 3 hours of East Langsing to Detroit...maybe you will need to rent a car, that all. Some important thing is that you can go out to the show and come back. If you are hungry you can eat some hamburguers, slide of pizza or sandwich.
